e-mail accounts hacked?

Post by tut » Fri Aug 21, 2015 10:49 am

Getting quite a few mails into my Spam folder from Members which are obviously Spam.

Does this mean that their Account has been hacked and these are being sent to everybody in their address book?

Could just be one account hacked Tut, and mails subsequently sent out impersonating all the contacts that were found in the hacked account.

At the beginning of the month TalkTalk were hacked and their customers details were compromised so there is probably an increase in spam just now.
