Wow! That is mega quick, but at only a capacity of 20 passengers, it will be mega pricey too. Can't help but think that there must be a better balance of speed / capacity - i.e., 2 hour flight, but able to take maybe 60 peeps?

Great to see something being developed as a replacement for Concorde :thumbsup

I read somewhere that smaller jets are threatening the 380 Superjumbo already. They are able to fly longer-haul, yet don't need mega runways / facilities etc.

Viz the growth in faraway destinations from Edinburgh Airport.

Campbell, see 787/dreamliner & Airbus's A350 response to it.

All Airbus have done as far add I can see is register a design or idea, there's nothing at all to say they've any intention of building it.
