Driving to London for the Washy day in Aug and don't fancy it without music!
I'm guessing in-ear is best and noise cancelling a requirement.
A mic would be a bonus although not expecting it to work roof off on the M1.

Cheers, Mark
I liked sennheiser too.tonyg wrote:There are loads of good headphones out there, but for use while driving i always recommend the latest Sennheiser CX300 (they're called CX 300-II Precision currently). Sound quality is pretty good, but unlike most headphones they have an asymmetric cable.
With ordinary ones you generally need to have the cable from the ipod/phone going up in front of you and the player has to be there too, this could cause you problems in an emergency situation.
With the CX300, the cables can be behind your back (and so can the player if required) in the Caterham i put a baby iPod in the handbrake well and the cables around my back. In an Elise it could even be in the net between the sets if required.
Much less of a distraction if sudden manoeuvres are required and safer because of it.
They're also cheap enough to be almost disposable ( i bust one set because they got tangled up in my belts when i forgot to take them off before undoing the full harness in the Caterham) - currently on Amazon at near enough half price.

There are fakes out there, so i'd buy from one of the more reputable sites if possible.
