Wish I could make it, would love to see the new Exige but I've got golf arranged for the morning. I might be out Sunday but weather not looking good. Remember to keep those Rev's down, have fun.

How about now?

I just need to have a shower and a light breakfast and could head over to meet you.

Say Braemar at 9:30?

Great early run today with Stu and his new Exige V6 Club Racer. As you can see, its a stunning colour and it looks even better in the sunshine. I drove over from Aberdeen this morning and met Stu coming towards me at the Spittal of Glenshee. A quick chat and a look around both cars, then we had a small run over to Strathdon and stopped at Goodbrand and Ross for refreshments and some photographs.

Stunning pics and cars guys.

S_E has come a long way over the years, S1's to V6 Exiges and Evoras, and the great thing is that we cover the whole range between us, and love them all from the original to the latest.

Hi Tut, yes, the cars have came a very long way as well, the S1 was a fantastic, game changing car when we all bought them 15 years or more years ago, and we have all loved them through the years, and continue to do so. We have all grew older, however the cars have simply just got got better. The V6 is, by a country mile, the most impressive and fun to drive car i have ever driven, (with the exeption of 2 of Andy Gordons cars) . It really is just magical, and i still havent have it above 4k revs yet. It was just like driving my S160 for the first time today, exept it was better in every way....

Tis that sort of change that keeps us going Stu, if you have never driven anything other than a standard 118hp S1 then you would be happy, but S_E does not work that way, once you get onto the track and road runs, you start looking for more power, more suspension, more tyres etc, then the new models come along with three times the power on almost the same chassis and it is a whole new ball game.

The good thing is that most of us have gone through those upgrades in stages and not jumped in at the deep end, and I think that has made us appreciate much more of what the capabilities that this fantastic little car can cope with.
