Evora's in Aberdeen (2+2)

Post by foz01 » Sun Apr 26, 2015 8:02 am

I hardly ever see them but there must be some?

Anyone who has one is there a chance of a quick looksee at the rear seats to put to bed the possibility of them being an option or not, many thanks :cheers

It depends who's going in the back, fine for the mother in law but not so much for your friends.
I went from a 911 to the evora and it's was slightly worse in that department, I'd happily show you but I don't have it anymore but it was a great car, well worth the inconvenience.

We have 3 children, and the Merc Ml family bus/Tow car..the runabout is a Mini Cooper S which would be going- which isn't exactly massive, but the older two are 7&5 so it's just if they could do short journeys for when two cars are required :)

Which 911 was it you had?

I tried my 13yr old son (5' 9") in the back of an evora yesterday and actually wondered if I'd get him back :blackeye

His head was approx 85.7deg from his shoulders, so the exercise was productive for me in ruling one out :thumbsup

Evora's in Aberdeen (2+2)

Post by campbell » Sun Apr 26, 2015 10:25 am

Our two are 8 and 10 (nearly), taller is approx 140cm. They fit perfectly in the back of our 2+2, including for long journeys.

I wouldn't drive the length of the UK, perhaps, but it really does work.

Main constraint is legroom. Lisa and I are 5' 8" so driver & pax seats are set relatively far forward. With driver's set correctly, James (8) fits fine behind it. Eilidh needs the pax seat a notch further forward so no leg stretching for front pax...but it works.

I'm in Linlithgow though...!

Our two love it, btw. Nice high view over the road.

PS - boot would be big enough for your #3 ;-)

Just to add - that sounded very negative, Campbell's post sounds bang on...but I'd say there's sufficient room to pull the pax seat forward enough to afford leg room in the rear for a child :thumbsup

I would think they'd be fine. Ali jumped in the back of his at the last meet and he fitted in - just - and he's 6 feet odds. It didn't look like he'd want to be there for long.

Im out in Aboyne - yellow 2 + 2.... you'd be welcome to come and have a look at it sometime. :D

My 2 girls are younger - 6 and 3.... 3 year old is in a car seat and 6 year old has a booster. There will actually be more space for them once they are both out of the carseats as they are pushed further forward and upwards than need be. The key constraint, as discussed, is legroom - but for short medium journeys its just not an issue. We regularly take the car out for Sunday drives and they both absolutely love it.

LOL. Good lad.

So which Evora are you buying? Murray seem to have a shortage...I think we've sold them out!

There might be a rash of great pre-owneds come Aug when the 400 hits the streets?
