Went on a factory tour there recently, easy to organise and very enjoyable.
Something i learned which I wasn't convinced about, they intend putting their products in tins, but then, when it comes to marketing, I doubt anybody has ever done better, it's a great business.

Beavertown have been Leading the way with tins in the uk and many of the American craft companies use them too. The propaganda suggests a better seal and no damage from light. It's probably cheaper too...

Been disappointed with Brewdog recently, but can't fault the ambition and success so far.

During pub crawling events with different groups in Dundee I have visited the Brewdog on 3 occasions. I couldn't find a beer that was palatable for more than 1 pint and neither could anyone else i was with .... and we are talking seasoned drinkers here (apart from me

). Has to be said my first ever Brewdog pint was Sepp (as in Mr Blatter of FIFA notirity ) .... bloody awful stuff it was which was maybe the idea

I had a bottle of weiss beer a few years ago and decided that all fancy beers were not for me. However lately I've been sampling the local breweries golden and ipa verieties and like them all. Brewdog IPA is nice but so are the black wolf, the lomond, the cairngorm and a few other I can't remember.

Taste is better than normal lagers and all locally brewed too which is nice.

Im with Woody , Beavertown is my favorite brewer right now. I do drink in Brewdog bar in Aberdeen a fair amount, i only like a couple of there beers but they do have guest beers on tap and a load more in the fridge. There are a few more craft beer bars in Aberdeen now so im spoiled.

Some beers are better out of a can, i still love a Stella and its better out a can then a bottle

Im already a share holder just wish I had invested at the start. Looking forward to there first AGM that i havent been away for.

It's beer. It's not even particularly great beer. And yet they manage to get beer drinkers to invest, and not only that but they fill the AECC for their AGM party. Absolutely incredible marketing and very, very clever guys. I'm a big fan.

I too recommend the factory tour, and take a designated driver, and have a pie and a few pints afterwards. The tour doesn't cover everything, but it's very worth seeing inside the plant. I was lucky enough to blag an extended tour with Martin, who was really enthusiastic and loves his production toys! Those guys are not lucky, they're very hard working and know exactly what they're doing every step of the way. The have very happy staff too, which speaks volumes about them and the company.

I'm not really that passionate about beer myself, but if they do get into distilling, well, that's different! I'd give my left nut to work for BrewDog Whisky!

I purchased 10 shares yesterday and I have no real good reason other than a few cool benefits in the prospectus. Clever guys indeed and each of directors salaries already at a cool 125k (prospectus booklet) which can't be bad for doing something you love.

I'm a beer fan but like you say I've been unable to find a Brewdog beer I like, I find their success rather strange but fair play to them, their marketing is excellent.

All BrewDog beers as far as I can tell:

"This beer has been lightly hopped, before being very heavily hopped, dry hopped, wet hopped, cold hopped, re-hopped, beaten to death with a big sack of hops, hop matured for 30 seconds in a recharred hop cask, and served in a hop cannon full of hops. And orange peel, which you can't taste for all the hops."

Not just me then. Had some clients down from Aberdeen and after dinner they wanted to go to the Brewdog pub. That was a tough night. I never found a beer I liked either and almost everything was minimum 6.5% ABV.

I really like 'Jackhammer'.. Nice and strong (7.2%) but quite smooth and surprisingly drinkable..
