Bravo!

JYS: "are you happy?"

Kimi: "I'm a bit pleased"

Britney will be lucky to finish 4th in the championship at this rate! He just fell off the road the moment he came under pressure ... like last year at Monza (I think).

Plays well to Hamilton's contract negotiations ... clearly you cannot just get any old idiot to drive and win.

It's fantastic to see Kimi driving well.

Cheers,
Robin

I believe his brakes had an issue - same as Hamilton on the last lap.

Agree, it's good to see Kimi on form.

One more lap and they would have both been out of it according to Lauda.

I spotted the title of this thread before I watched a recording of the race.

I thought it could only mean one of 2 things:

- Kimi won

- Kimi out in big accident

So I had high hopes towards the end! Could Kimi have caught and passed Hammie? 2 more laps perhaps. Less if the brakes packed in. Natch.

Exciting stuff.

Exciting chase down, got my heart going a bit. Come on Kimi!! Boring conclusion. Oh, ffs, after all that!

Overall I thought it was a decent race, but on reflection it's quite sad if that's what, in my mind, constitutes a decent F1 race these days... It wasn't worth an hour and half on the sofa.

Bottom line, Hamilton start to finish even with a potential race ending problem.

Didn't want the title to give too much away

Just watched it. Great drive by the Iceman, and great to see in the post race interview as understated as ever - no bigging himself and the team up, just a 'bit disappointed' that he didn't win. Classic Kimi :-)
