Thanks Stewart for sending me this link after speaking to you at the garage
The video looks superb and I forget how good the scenery is sometimes because I am there so often. Too busy watching the road.

Last time was on it, didn't see anything for fog!
Looking forward to next time. Off to check forecast for Saturday.
Cheers

Nice EVO link indeed... we are very lucky to have such roads on our door step with relatively little traffic on them compared to down south. Also agree with his points that its difficult to remember to stop and take it all in but then you also don’t want to disrupt the flow of driving such lovely roads.
So will our next run be at a slower pace with lots of scenic breaks to appreciate the scenery? Or flat out taking a glimpse from time to time?

Usually dont want to stop as all the cars you've overtaken will be past you again.

Great video and reminds me :
- why the bottom part of my Murray's front number plate was scraped off (lift off on the A93 nr Spital) on my 111R
- of driving on the right with the Toxic Frog from Braemar to Glenshee
- of the icy run in the Frog with Ali C to the Lecht and back
Don't let this video go viral

Guys, we should be telling the world that our roads are packed full of traffic and covered extensively by speed cameras.
Because if we don't they will be packed full of traffic........

A great find.
I have never been convinced by a few of the mega-twisty, switchback type sections of the lower Glenshee road, but all of the rest of the featured route is awesome, without doubt.
There are some other special places, of course...anything north-west of the Great Glen, for example...however I just happen to be in Peterhead on Tuesday and if time is on my side, I might return home via Glenshee. It's the Evora's first genuine long-commute-shakedown...we shall see

Not trying hard enough - less than 20 miles to Blair

I see your

Rossy, but it really did used to be < 20 mins from the Perth Road to Blair. Not any more though.... The Swallow Roundabout to Liff is all 40 limit now, and then Liff - Fowlis isn't really 2 cars wide any more. Then there's the plod's favourite camera spot at Piper Dam. Then the 40 limit from Kettins to C/A, then 40 limit from C/A down Butterybank, then they hatched Myreriggs Road junction (to the Muirfield hotel) so no overtaking there...
If you can still do it in <20 I hope I don't meet you coming the other way!

I used to frequent Blair Atholl regularly, so went via Coupar Angus, Blair, Brig o' Cally, then over the Moulin Moors to Pitlochry.....great fun on a quiet weekday
How did you know I was so close to the Perth Road? Seen me staggering out of Mennies?
