ClarkyBoy is now picking up all the tyres on Tuesday and will store them in his workshop for anybody who would like to see them.

I have some S2 sizes languishing in the garage 1st floor if anyone is interested.
From memory 2x part worn rear R888 and a front A048R.
Still a wee bit life left in them as swapped for spanky new ones prior to frolicing. I think the front was for a puncture (to the other side so a new pair on).
Free to a good home.

Robin and Shug reckon Maxsport RB5's are the best tyres that they have ever driven on, especially as they age like fine wine.

Those tires are awesome - provided you want no grip and no hearing!

One of my first SE runs, was in 2003 IIRC. Met up with some guy called Shug at the Little Chef at the Shell garage on the M80 at Cumbernauld. There was also Iain Watt, and a guy called DDtB. When we left the services I was following the mighty Shug mobile. My first thought was, sh1t, what's wrong with my car?... what is that noise?... followed by, oh, it's the car in front,... what's wrong with it? Did not take long to realise it was the tyres.

Nice Mr Shug explained to be later it was "character" of his super cool track tyres.
