She waits...
“..that sanguine expectation of happiness which is happiness itself”
First time I have ever SORN'd a car over winter. Anyone else having their first run of the year on Sunday?

If it was further away, that would have been perfect. But given its only about 6 or 7 miles up the road from me, reckon I'll head further afield.

Er. Are we not your friends?! Come for brekky. THEN drive the wheels off it down the A701, up the 708 to Selkirk, on Innerleithen, and back over the B roads to home

That sounds like a pot/kettle/black statement,... or did I just miss seeing you at the last breakfast meet at MMC?!
Might just use that route though to make the most of my morning only pass.
Enjoy the museum all who go. I remember the last SE meet there about 6 or 7 years ago. Sure I still have a photo somewhere of us all parked up in front of the Vulcan.

I was hopeful but weather's still dubious enough for me to leave the car in storage for another month. For all the use it would get in March,I can't justify the time off work and coating the car in salt with a journey from Thurso to Perthshire.
Definately aiming to be on the road for April,MOT to book in Thurso, tax can be done on the 'net and a service at MMC.
Enjoy the day out....weather grim around Dunning

Hungover
When our Saturday night dinner guests twice sent the taxi away to come back later, I knew it was game over for Sunday. Wouldn't have been fit to get behind the wheel until the PM and furthest I ventured was a walk to the beach with the dog to clear my head. Oh well, roll on next weekend.

Great picture, capturing the hibernation nicely.
