Concussed - hospital is precautionary it seems. Looks like car failure - Vettel who was following reports that the car just turned right into the wall. Fingers crossed no harm done. McLaren really are making slow progress - I hope they can get it together for Melbourne!

That's what happens with even mild concussion / brain injury; no surprise the docs won't let him drive again for a few weeks.

Alonso is fit to race, but the risk of a second crash within weeks of concussion is too big.
