Worry not, you'll get plenty of warnings and it's a two min job to turn the porn back on again.

First torrent trackers, now pron, where do they draw the line?

It's a promotional tactic. Look at us, we're the good guys, we're protecting your children and making it easy. We've deliberately designed the process so it's not embarrassing to opt out of the shield.

it's not the beginning of the end, or a sign of things to come.

Our man in (south) Korea tells me you can't acess pron there at all. Though I do doubt Cumnock Shug's proficiency with VPNs and the like.

I have yet to find any IT infrastructure that prohibits access to pron. There's always a way....

PLEASE WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN*

*at least the ones who never talk to any schoolfriend who's ever heard of a proxy, or know how to Google search for "how to get porn on Sky".

It's a f*cking nonsense marketing tactic which gives parents a false sense of security, and probably does more harm than good. Instead of taking proper precautions, or actually monitoring your kids internet usage, you can pretend your job as a parent is done by simply not unticking a box.

Infuriating sh*te, and they should be put up against a wall and shot for it.
