Regards the bahar years, i'm still gutted they didn't go ahead and build the new esprit.
Saw the new lambo on top gear, and couldn't help think how close it looked to the proposed esprit.

The disadvantage of showing your hand too early -launching your new range fully 5 years before its for sale lets the competition get the jump on similar design and a danger that your car will look 'old' by the time it's in the showroom. It also, as we saw, killed current sales stone dead
If you think back to the original Elise launch,the design was pretty much under wraps until the covers came off at the motorshow launch.
God to see that things are on the up again, long may it continue.
