Clare has asked me to send he a list, which as usual I have failed miserably with. However I would like an in car digital dash cam for road use on the Honda CV-R.
There are hundreds out there, but this one is in the right price range and looks as if it has got a decent lens, full HD resolution, and the features that I need. It seems a step above others in the same range.
Do any of you use one as opposed to a top end product, if so what are your views on this and any other recommendations.

Tut - drop me a line - we distribute them for HP.
Currently the market for this is going nuts!
Don't think we have the new one they launch next week up on AMP3 yet, but will do shortly. Stock arrives next week.
Some of the cheap ones are woeful!
We've just launched one of our with Costco in Canada - outselling their forecast by 8 times!

Andy also did a Cowon one that was pretty clever, it recorded over all the time but saved in the instance of an impact, think it saved from like a minute before it felt a shunt...

Problem is that I want to keep the price down so that it is a level playing field for the kids, as opposed to buying it myself where I would be looking at the top end.
If you read the spec, apart from GPS there is not much missing, and at £23 it is not much of a gamble. I have bought hundreds of products direct from China and HK and never had a duff one. Delivery takes longer, but they are the same product as being distributed by UK sellers but at 50% of the price. All you have to do is look at the feedback, when it is 99.8% for over 300,000 items it is not much of a risk.

Aw I was hoping this was another thread where Tut posts his present for Verian, what year was the magic bin where we had the video of Tut waving a stick?
Back on track if the rozzers pull you for suspected speeding could they confiscate your camera as evidence?

That very thought had crossed my mind - potential to incriminate oneself as apposed to protecting oneself.

...not sure I would want to create video evidence of my driving
