Guy Martin.

Post by tut » Sun Nov 16, 2014 9:37 pm

Just watching his record attempt in a soapbox and he is using Mount Ventoux. Must have cost a fair packet to build. Drifting it on the test sessions.

Presume that they must have closed off a section for him, which seems unusual.

Lead car and a follow car - do you think they'd need to close? (Good TV though)

They trained with the British Champion women's Bob Team to learn how to push.

Of course he crashes, not content with a World record he needs to reach 90.

I really warm to him.......
His infectious knowledge and abilities make for great TV.

I reckon he will end up breaking some sort of record on that French laydee luge rider as well :D

I would happily put a £10 on him having nipped the french luge lady at the very least.

Every week I come away from the program thinking - I could do that.
