Post by ninja » Thu Oct 30, 2014 12:30 am

if i manage to survive this i'm thinking of getting the GTE front end fitted to the evora. to go with the GT4 spoiler i fitted last month

Looks fantastic but it is outrageously expensive to buy.
There are some rumours that Lotus are are going to release a batch of GTE adorned cars - the bad news is that rumoured price is likely to be £80k,so you could be saving yourself a small fortune if you do go down the DIY route. :thumbsup

Oh and good luck with the court case.

I think the GTE looks Awesome but the GTE is actually a wider car if I'm not mistaken??

They look epic but when we were at Hethel earlier in the year they didn't have any that worked. The GTE has a wider track that they'd used spacers to make possible and there were other issues. On the plus side easily the best looking evora I've ever seen.

If you put the front on a normal Evora though you would look massively under-wheeled.

£95k is a fair bit for a car that been lying by the test track out in the elements for the past 18 months.

Is a GTE not a tepid Astra c. 1985?

It could be persuaded to lift its inside rear wheel on the road from Doune to Comrie. So I was told.

And they have all been sold so even if you wanted one you can't get one.

£85k is closer to the mark, depends what market the car is for, whether it needs IVA or not. Please contact me if you have an interest...!

lol thanks for the replies.

i'll see how the case goes - hopefully Mr Black is on the ball and will talk to MMC about the front end

personally i think it looks great but you do have to think about resale lol and i hate seeing a good car fooked up by some body kit
