Rear tow eyes.

Post by pete » Tue Oct 03, 2006 2:30 pm

Was someone on here selling some?
I need to give Tenkfeet's back to him (he lent it me months ago and I've only just noticed it is still on the car) and Elise parts want 20 quid each which seems a bit steep.

But considering what I have been reading about the state the front towing eye gets into I'd rather have something at the back that is a bit more substantial.

Is a set 1 or 2 actual brackets?

I'll take two brackets and I've just PM'd Stu.

What's the deal with these rear towing eyes? Do they just screw onto existing bolts on the undertray? Useful even if I'm not tracking the car yet? (i.e. will they be better than front towing eye if I ever need towed?).

How much? I might be interested in a set.

They are fixed on using the existing undertray bolts that go into the subframe. Stu was making them but he'd probably need to do another batch. They're around £16 IIRC, not sure exactly as I'm still due him for mine :P

Stu,

If you are coming to the SIDC event at KH this weekend perhaps you could bring some along - I will have a couple.

Thanks,
Mark
