Scottish Elises

I am going to Houston next year and would like to hire a new generation muscle car. I thought there would be lots of choice via the Internet, but choice seems limited to a Corvette. Plan is to drive to Austin, San Antonio and maybe some other locations. Duration of holiday is 15 days.
Has anyone any tips on car hire and anything else?

I had a Mustang from them a couple of years back, while in Ohio for a 12 days.

The Camaro SS has 420+ bhp, which should be ample

It looks like its a V6. Really looking for a V8.
It is probably me, but I don't find the Hertz site for the Adrenaline site very user friendly.
If you compare the price to European car hire the price is pretty good at just over £1k for 15 days.

They're all V8's from the Hertz link:

Any Mustang with a GT badge is usually a 5l V8

The Camaro's an SS model = 6.2l V8

The Challenger R/T's a 5.7l V8 hemi

The site is a bit poor, but prices are pretty decent - Most other hire companies that rent Mustangs / Camaros use V6's

(Remember and google around for Hertz cashback deals at topcashback & Quidco / voucher codes before booking).

Thanks for the help and the tip re the voucher sites. Not used them before, if it does what it says on the labels, it is a 8-10% saving.

Had previously looked at this briefly for US hol next summer - but bottled it and booked an SUV for us and the kids for less than £300 for a fortnight

Me and Simon Ironside both hired mustangs when we went to California a few years back. They only had one though, and I got upgraded to a V8 corvette. You can imagine his annoyance
