Looks like they start the entire build by bolting the brake discs to the jig! :thumbsup

tut's correct in that it will be a cup R road registered. Once complete it will head over to motorsport to have the R aero pack fitted. Start of a, hopefully, long development of the car to full R spec. Not much left to do right enough but the xtrac box is a huge upgrade and the jury is still out on the strength and longevity of the box but time will tell. Plenty else to do before that though.
No idea when it will be ready, apparently the line is moving really slowly just now, don't know why. And have no idea how quickly Msport take. Should get some more pictures next week so will update when I know more but hopefully not to far away now.
Oh and it is as well as not a replacement for the R8 Paul.
