Whether on the internet, or the bigger issue when Mrs B is playing Candy Crush or Pet Rescue Saga

It's about 1.5yrs old, and has AVG Free installed.
Any suggestions, in case it's something obvious?
Cheers

It still works, but intermittently.campbell wrote:Effectively a crash? OS fully up to date? Anything obviously change around time failures began?
Hmmmmm, all up to date apparently, it was set to auto-update anyways - thanks Campbellcampbell wrote:Yep, into settings, there will be an icon for system...on my Toshiba Android it's something like Service Station. Check this out:

So in layman's terms, does that mean it's f*cked?robin wrote:You are meant to replace every year or so, it's just reminding you that it's time ...
If the screen only goes blank for two seconds then dumps you back on the home screen, that's too quick for Android itself to reboot, so more likely it's the user space application that's crashing. Given it happens in more than one application I would suspect an issue with the graphics subsystem.

My promotion to head of IT department at DS Accountancy was clearly well deserved.
