Not before time. It is time the proper cars were back at the front! With Lotus just behind......or in front sometimes.

For sure the F1 team have underperformed, but the road car division has gone from making flakey crap to arguably the most exciting sports cars on the planet. And massively increased profitability and turnover. I'm scared that the new guy will take Ferrari down the path of increased volume and reduced exclusivity. He and Montezemolo have been at loggerheads about the direction for Ferrari.

Chris Harris has pondered on Twitter if the current series of cars will be looked back on fondly as the last of the "exclusive" Ferraris...

Edit - F1 underperformed recently Lets not forget it was Montezemolo who presided over the Schumacher years of domination too.

They'll need to sell a lot more cars if the 50m Euro severance clause in his contract is true
