Eddie and DC also pointed out that it is great how the new young drivers that have come along and little is known about, want to talk and be interviewed and have such enthusiasm, which is only natural, but shows up some of the established figures.

They will certainly be looking over their shoulders more often.

ps:- sense at last with this 5 second penalty for minor issues instead of a drive through, especially when it can be applied at the end of the race and not screw it up.

Very enjoyable race. Booo's on Nico are all a bit disappointing and as are all the conspiracy theories!

Agreed, lots to watch all the way through. Choice to speak Italian by Nico in anteroom was a fascinating insight to the psych games.

EJ grid walk was woeful. DC needs to be running that again.

Agreed on the psychology - Italian, the language of surrender I doubt Hamilton gives a flying fcuk whether Rosberg or anybody else in that room wants to speak to him . . .

Also agree that booing is just wrong.

What I found surprising was that Ricciardo was topping the speed trap figures when I spotted them on the screen - clearly that cannot be right - must just have been on that lap, or between a group of cars - even so on that lap, he was faster in a straight line than one or two of the Mercedes powered FI/McLaren cars - must have had so much better exit out of the corners! He is also such a nice chap - I just love seeing him grin from ear to ear

And Clare Williams is an outstanding Team (deputy?) Principal. Shining example to all the others.

Would be fascinating to build a case study in leadership and management skills with her as the focus.

I watched on Sky, so no EJ grid walk, Brundle's are always so much better anyway.
This week he didn't do one though, instead they did a feature where he interviewed various members of the Williams crew as they got the car to the grid, changed tyres, worked to keep things cool etc, interesting stuff, though I think a regular grid walk would have been better.

Good race, predictable result though, Lewis had it all to lose and very nearly did, I too noticed the psychology, but then I think we'd all be playing that game.

Agree that Alsono's exit was a tragedy. Someone in the Fezza time will have a horse's head in their bed tonight.

EJs grid walk was indeed cringe worthy. Seemed to be wandering aimlessly about looking for someone to talk too whilst telling the cameraman to focus on the cars
