J.TSE Karting report

Post by Stu160 » Sun Oct 01, 2006 8:32 pm

Hi All

A short report this time, not much to tell.

The day went wet to dry,by heat 3 ,and also dry for the final,16 on the grid,so a hard day for both of them,Anne Marie was not going to race, but changed her mind, and Steven had All the best drivers in Scotland in front of him(well ,only a few missing) so anything 7th or better would be a result, also has not done enough laps of Larkhall to really be able to do much.

So Anne Marie started the final last and finished last, close to 2 karts in front of her,but no where close to being lapped, also got her best time to date as well,so she done her best. She said she is never going to do Larkhall again. :( ( she said that last month as well )

Steven started 10th,a bit further back than I hoped. He had not driven well all day, heed full of rubbish I think.I told him to keep it tidy and slow for the corners, and he would get up a bit,and he did.....a bit.
He finished 8th,so not to bad,but he was still overdriving and could have done better.

Non stop fighting on the way home in the van,so next weeks action is now on hold pending a good weeks behavior,we will see.

Good progress Stu :)

I wish I'd known it was Larkhall as I'd had a run through....was out on my bike anyway ;)
