North Sea Ferry warning.

Post by Peter » Sun Aug 03, 2014 5:46 pm

Came off the Rotterdam boat this morning and every driver was breathalysed at passport control.
I know a few of us have used these routes for Northern Europe track days and with many bars and sh*t cabarets the temptation to have a few drinks and let loose.
Be careful!

Just bought a Alcosense Elite breathalyser, really pleased with it and has already stopped me driving the morning after a heavy sesh. Would recommend it for peace of mind when temptation gets the better of you!

That may not help you if you've overdone it on a ferry....they won't be very keen on you staying onboard till you sober up

They've been known to do that in the past coming off the DFDS ferry, there was always a risk although I was never checked.

I would rather refuse to leave than get done for drink driving in Holland!
