I have not had cause to use MMC recently, but have a look through the subjects listings, they have not been getting themselves a good name 
Also, have a look at the top of 'meets' section re recent complaints.

Check the small print of your warranty, it's not the same as a full manufacturer warranty and I'm not sure if the OFT ruling applies to them.

I had my car serviced there in April - 'A' service, £289! Luckily I got it free though.
The general consensus is to go to Dan @ Jude Performance in Newcastle, or Falkland Performance. Oddly, people used to rave about Falkland, but Dan is flavour of the month now
I used Falkland for some parts recently - top job, friendly service, and up front, and saved £500 over what MMC were going to charge.
You may think that you gets what you pays for, but that's not the case with MMC.
