The Great Seloc Relay - Lands End > John O'groats > Seloc

Post by Jam_s160 » Sat Jul 05, 2014 7:58 am

Hello all, wee call for help... I picked a Mr Golding shoe yesterday in Edinburgh and carefully transported it to Aberdeen. :thumbsup

Check out this thread on Seloc - our target is to get it upto John O Groats and back to Brands Hatch so it can be reunited with Mr Golding once again. All a bit of fun... The shoe has been everywhere and who ever has it needs to photograph its adventures and post up on Selocs thread. :thumbsup

Anyone on here up for helping with the challenge to take it further north to John O Groats. I will be going to Brands Hatch so we have the option to get it back to me then i can also help with the return leg. Alternatively if someone else wants to relay it via other people all the way back that's fine too.

Sooooo who's going north then? :cheers

Heh, I probably still have the offcut laces somewhere. :)

Perfecto... tHat would be ideal. I'm happy to get it to you before you depart. Keep me updated etc... I see your not at the breakfast meet tomorrow as that could have been a option.

You know you will have to post on Seloc now :D

Stopping the random guy with the Great Dane was pretty funny. I wonder what he said to his wife when he got home.

Plan is to leave from South of Perth on morning of 18th July and head up to Thurso via Glencoe,Great Glen and eventually join A9 north of Dingwall.
Is there anyone going to LEGS meet @ Fennel tomorrow who could transport the "package" to Perthshire,Fife or MMC,Edinburgh.
We'll give it a wee tour of the north Highlands and arrange the next part of it's journey from there.

We could have taken it with us on the Tour de France.
