Mike Scib has a place in Aviemore. I think there was a post in the SE offers forum.

Has anyone stayed at Taymouth Marina?
Close to the Crannog centre, looks good, and pet friendly

No but went up for a look they look ok.
Mains of Taymouth Lodges better IMO and also pet friendly.
Kenmore Hotel bought over and great bar menu now and dogs can join you too for a meal.

I don't know that place Ross but ...

... we stayed there and it was brilliant to be able to eat in the bar with my doggie at my feet.
The bar was hellish expensive as I recall though.
The lodge had clear instructions that dogs were not to be allowed on the furniture. Here's a holiday snap.
Looking for that pic, I found
this old thread.
My pal Murray and I and wives and dogs are going to
Glen Clova in November as a belated treat for my 50th birthday.
Please do let us know where you end up.

Mains of Taymouth does indeed look lovely but are fully booked for when we plan to go - plus doesn't have a hot tub
Talking of which, we're not ruling out Forest hols at Strathyre, we went to the one at Argyll (Loch Long) last summer and it was ace
Surfbus - thanks - saw your link on the other thread but the missus doesn't want to drive too far
Admittedly this has been a spur of the moment thing, as we're looking at Mon 4th - Fri 8th so availability is limited

Booked Taymouth Marina this afternoon
Got a good deal, hot tub, can bring the dug, have many happy (p*shed) memories of the area when you could camp at Kenmore, so rather looking fwd to it now
