One of the gents in work has kindly offered to lend me his GoPro 3 HD for the Spaz trip
It's got lots of mounts but not the suction type.
I've not used one before, looking for advice on the best way to mount it to the outside of the Evora, would it be worth buying a suction mount?
TBH I'm a bit worried that it'll come off

Probably won't be allowed a suction type mount on track.
Clamp or sticky ones OK.

The new style suction mounts will pull your window out before they let go. That said I will be using sticky type for Spazz, 2 camera set up.

I can gladly lend you a suction mount if you can pick it up in bo'ness or nearby.
The sticky ones will come off with a hairdrier and some thin wire, some sticky stuff remover and some patience

Kenny,
As Ali said suction mounts had to be tethered if used, easier with just the sticky pads. I've got a suction mount but won't bother taking it on Spazz as its more hastle to get it accepted for the track.
Cheers

I'm picking up a suction mount from Neil today
I was thinking I could use it for some in car stuff, sticking it to the rear window.
Lesley's in charge of it though, no point in bringing a photographer then doing it myself
Thanks for the offer Neil

If Leslie is a photographer, then we will be expecting lots of pictures posted up for all of those who would like to go, but cannot make it.

I am hoping someone will make a small film with all the GoPro footage that will be getting taken.
Anybody into film making on here?
Steve.

There should be plenty of pics from Lesley although I don't think she'll be taking any big lenses unless I hire her one.
She does social and product work so not much call for a big telephoto lens in that area.
She's talking about making a wee movie so we'll see what she comes up with

I'll chuck my GoPro in the bag, and bring some extra mounts for you to borrow - I'll also bring my D-SLR, but the biggest lens I have is only a 55-250mm (and a slow f/4-5.6) so don't expect any shots to rival Mr Stewart's fine work...
