S1 Colour Schemes (Ideas)

Post by mwmackenzie » Tue May 13, 2014 10:46 pm

OK so you have an S1 and feel like a full respray, possible colour change, what would you do colour wise? Please post pics of your inspirations and state why you think it would work on an S1 :thumbsup

Don't think many cars suit a 2-colour scheme but the S1 Elise does, so I would go for one of the Lotus Classic Schemes:

Agreed, scandal, or Aspen White. Either of them would suit me fine. Where you likely to get it done Mark? Group deal? :thumbsup

Scandal type 49 as per a couple of threads down :-)

Obviously 2nd to my own actual choice that is, I'd I had to choose again, I'd still make my car exactly the way it is!

BRG with martini stripes would be great too, the retro motorsport look really suits them.

Renault liquid yellow with very dark blue could work too, but the blue would have to be limited to wheels and interior I think, maybe side vent too

Much as I love scandal, drove Stu's 160 a while back and it certainly turns heads! Thing is I will be using this car for work, visiting clients etc so not sure if it might be a bit in yah face? :?: Type 49 is cool...

The scandal/white looks great! but maybe a tad loud, Love the liquid yellow motorsport elise but not sure about yellow in general, is that just a pearl that gives it that effect? retro MS cool but not sure it'll work for work?

Thought you were on a budget Mark! :-D

What about the Evora yellow/orange that glows in the sunshine?

...or maybe Aston Martin grey? :-p

White looks pretty sweet, and its rare.

I just got mine re-done in Azure blue, and it look stunning.
