I’ve got a 2010 E350 Coupe and require a fairly major service, it’s currently got a full Mercedes Service History but the cost of the Mercedes Service is around £170 more than a local respected German specialist who I’m sure would do just a good a job; question is: Is it worth paying the extra to preserve the Merc Service History? – I’m likely to sell the car in the next year so don’t know if the resale value would be affected? – Also, if I get it serviced at Mercedes I will preserve the European wide breakdown cover.
I’d be interested to hear peoples thoughts on this.

Re: Mercedes Servicing Question
Had exactly the same situation with my A4 (2002 Model). I phoned Edinburgh Audi with the quote and they price matched it so went with them. Definitely worth a go
