Wow, that is cool. If I hadn't just bought a car I would be tempted.

If you're talking about the one with a Toyota V6, no.

Don't think this conversion was covered on here, but my memory isn't great.

That was the one.

Looks a good bet and spec though for £15K.

Lots of want.
I'm sure someone would buy my vx. Else, what's the harm in having two?!
Need one while the other is getting 'maintained'

VR6 is a nice engine. Must sound awesome. Heavier yes, but audibly silky. :-)

For once, is it too much to ask that we can have a discussion about engine conversions without certain individuals lowering the tone? By all means, state fact and your opinion, but try doing it in a slightly more pleasant, less abrasive manner. :thumbsup

Read this recently & it describes the thinking perfectly:

I'm not sure how the weight would affect the handling but there is now a lot of weight high up in the engine which i'm thinking might somehow affect the centre of gravity and charachteristics of the car, I'm sure some decent seat time would see some able to cope with this though? Bet she's silky smooth and sound fruity, that is of course if she's well mapped, unlike my old Esprit which was terribly mapped
Interesting conversion all the same! :thumbsup
