Have any of you changed from winter to summer tyres yet?

Our MINI was switched a couple of weeks ago now. Perfect timing. Temps were barely above 7 degs up to that point, and have been in the teens since :-)

On the odd days it was in double figs while the winters were on, they were decidedly squidgey :-)

Only downside is the ride - the summers are runflats. Boooo.

PS . treads remained at 8mm...

It took me most of the winter to get a set of 17" wheels for the Mini, after I bought tyres in Nov. I never fitted them to the car. Still, they're ready for October

I swapped over our subaru winters to summers 4 weeks ago... As soon as temps are regularly above 7degrees that's the time to do it.

Swapped back 3rd week of March, extra grip was immediately obvious.

I went from FWD with winters to RWD with summers at the end of Feb. Was expecting lots of snow after that
