S2 soft top

Post by tut » Fri Apr 18, 2014 6:41 pm

You probably all know this, but I just read it in the Handbook.

"Engaging the left hand roof side rail first will minimise the possibility of the canopy tensioning cable adjusters causing damage to the roof seals."

Real men NEVER consult a handbook. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

I believe the handbook also recommends washing regularly using a cotton chenille wash mitt and a higher gloss finish can be achieved by the use of wax.

Thanks Tut. Great to see you and Verian again. And to meet those two crazy young dogs.

Climbing back in the MINI was something of a come-down...although it was going well through Glenshee!

The section on how to fit the roof is not in my handbook at all - which was not handy as it started snowing when i was driving the car home for the first time from Murrays!
