I'm fairly sure I've posted about this before.

But after Tut mentioned the advent of the 2014 BTCC season, I went off in search of footage of the first race. Didn't find any (think highlights might be on ITV Player this weekend), but did find this brilliant 3-part series.

I watched the first one when screened a couple of months ago - it features a coaching hero of mine who is also a Touring Car Legend, Sir John Whitmore - but I missed out on episodes 2 and 3. Have now tracked them down, and all of the episodes themselves are legend. Worth a watch.

PS - they don't race em like that anymore!

Highlights are on ITV4 next Saturday at 15.15 repeated on Sunday morning at 8.15, Tivo set as I missed the live races on Sunday.

The first episode was on before the Brands Hatch races started on Sunday, so I'd expect the other 2 to be on either before the next 2 race days, or maybe next weekend and the following weekend if you don't have access to the player.

Ok, great tip. Big TiVo experiment underway here...have set a series-link record for first time ever! Fingers crossed...

Turns out the other 3 episodes were on AFTER the race day, oops!
