Tyre sealant foam (NLC)

Post by j2 lot » Fri Mar 28, 2014 10:28 pm

Got a flat tyre that wouldn't stay inflated after pumping it up with a compressor so had to restore to the foam filler, the puncture was caused by a screw in the tread that snapped off so should be repairable.
Which repairers are most likely to fix tyres that have the foam in them rather than recommend replacement.

I've used Tom Farmer in the past and was pleasantly surprised by the service (tyre sealant hadn't been used though).

I think the reason they can't normally repair them is because they cant see where the puncture was. If it's an obvious screw then I'm sure it's possible.
