ive always found the camera thats on the central reservation (a96) when u r leaving aberdeen strange. how come its in the middle between both roads? does it work both ways?

If it's the one at Marshall Trailers A96 road, then yes it can be turned to face either direction.

No, it takes pictures after you pass the camera.
The camera has to be facing the direction that you are travelling and will take a picture if it detects if you are speeding. Look at the road markings for the camera the next time you pass.

Allegedly this camera is the most profitable in the country.....Was pointing up the hill (north) when I tested my brakes earlier today. Roof off, t-shirt on..bring on the summer...

I pass this one every day. Changes direction quite often.
