swapping exige S for evora - this tuesday

can't wait but tbh i think i'll miss the exige s. it's been a joyous car to own, so very flickable in corners, sticks to the road like i frankly still cannot believe but at the same time in an instant if you want to go sideways it's like it knows and just gives up the back end! hell i'll even miss the awesome noise it makes on overrun.
alas my wife haaaaaates it - it's even worse than the elise that i put a sports exhaust and laurini air box on - it's noisey, uncomfortable, we sit practically on top of eachother, it rains inside, the steering is heavy, the windows are always covered in condensation, and the brakes are sh1te.
so here's hoping that my love affair will continue (with lotus at lease) with the evora which apparently doesn't leak, has brakes that work, power steering and at least has a sports button to control a bit of the noise! fingers crossed. i just hope it's still a lotus as i traded the porsche in 9 months ago for the much cheaper, much less luxurious exige and never regretted it for a second - i'll be gutted if this is another luxury car that lacks soul.

Absolutely no comparison IMO, the Evora is a better car in almost every department, without the downsides.
I loved my Evora. Got rid of my Exige after the honeymoon period finished.
Saying that I'd love a V6 Exige, but know I'd end up feeling the same after a few months. I will buy another Evora in the future sure

Get some better brakes and adjust the windows ffs
Evoras are lovely cars though, hope you enjoy it as much as the Exige! (Or is that I hope she...)

I don't think you'll be disappointed.
The Evora is a lovely car to drive every day.

I take it your buying from Murray Lotus in Edinburgh?
I noticed that the Burnt Orange Evora has just been sold and I am sure that its Andrew C old car.
I would not buy it as its been thrashed to bits on every track around the uk. Rumour has it that the chassis is twisted and that its been resprayed twice after being in too many gravel traps. Check that roof panel has been fixed as there was a slight dent after it was rolled at Knockhill one time.
Only joking, but had you going eh.
If its Andrews old car then you have nothing to worry about.
Craig and Brandon will see you ok and tell you the truth.
Sorry, could not resist
Steve.
