ABZ Karting Night Tuesday 11th March

Post by C7Steve » Sun Feb 09, 2014 12:25 pm

Anyone fancy a Karting night in Aberdeen sometime?

http://www.kartstart.com/ejava/scratchkart/prices.do

I will easily organise a night if I can get a few people interested.

Boyndie by miles the best option. :)

Ali and myself used to compete in the Scottish Championships in 2005 at Boyndie, so if it was good for an Elise it is even better for a cart.

ps:- I think that he beat me, it was my last event as my legs finally went and I ended up in a wheelchair.

Actually that was not the reason, it was N1 TUT in those days and she felt way down on power. Took her to Wallaces and onto the RR which showed 160 instead of 220hp. They cleaned the air filter and the power was back again, which is when I discovered that if you are going to do road runs on our roads you have to clean the filter regularly.

After that if there was any doubt on track I would just pull the hose off the filter, tracks are way cleaner than our farmers roads.
