Deal completed over the phone tonight,"new" car will be shipped up to Scotland sometime soon....no hurry 'cos I reckon the weather's going to get sh*t.
My new wheels have their spiritual home in Scotland so it'll be good to get it back up here in "gods' country".......most of you will have followed the rebuild thread by " Mikie 711"
Restraint'll have to be shown with my "round 2" of Lotusdom and TC switched ON.
Hope it' say good summer

Oh bollocks. Someone else has bought it. AGAIN!
I really need to be more decisive.

You'd have to sell that other crate first.

It's not a crate. It's a shed.

Cracking car
One of these ones which I'd say many on here have looked to justify ownership

Lucky get! Awesome spec of car, I'd have loved to take a plunge on it but it'll be a while before I'm shopping again

Congrats!

Good to see you back with another car.
Take care though, as it sounds a beast of a thing.
Is Mandy going to follow you with your other motor for any SE camping trips, because I don't think that the car has a boot.
Steve.

Thanks for all the positive comments on Mikes' car!!!... I'm hoping to be a better custodian of this one.....and glad to be back in the fold so to speak. Was starting to covet "other cars" but held on & lo and behold the "right" car turned up.
I remember it being up for sale after the rebuild and either had the yellow 111R or didn't have the funds, but seriously desired ownership........therefore when it appeared on Sunday for sale,I thought I'd better move quick.A no- brainer in reality after the epic build thread and predict it's going to be a memorable summer.
Not sure about the lack of luggage space Steve, creative packing maybe the answer....or Mandy takes her Landy with everything bar the tent and I'll arrive and put that up.Whatever the answer is we'll make it to a camping trip I'm sure....and looking forward to it in fact with all the dire weather we're getting.
Thanks to Mike for the offer of any info/help required.....and for having the patience to create a car to this spec.

That's a great buy...but for lousy timing I'd have jumped on that too! Great to see you back in the saddle. Just make sure you hide the keys if it comes camping...
