kinross car auction driver position available.

Post by sendmyusername » Wed Jan 08, 2014 11:01 pm

Was at the auction tonight, one of the drivers managed to select reverse by mistake, and walloped into car behind him, and the car behind that. In the hall full of bidders...
Suspect there may be a job available for a driver tomorrow....
Luckily it was in the 'smokers' section, but the car in the middle was very shiney until that point..

I did that once! Reversing off a transporter when I worked for NCA at Haydock in a Granada, so pleased with myself was I that when I got to the bottom of the ramp I just floored it. Straight into the front of a brand new Maestro waiting to go on.

Kept my job though...

my dad had a meastro, God it was awful, it was the only car he bought new and one of the worst cars he ever had (including an old polo that had been around the clock...)
i needed to jump start the S1 today, and had the girlfriends micra face on to the S1,but my jump leads didn't reach, so had to squeeze the micra between the S1 and my golf. i was quite aware of the fact if i made an arse of it, i could damage all three cars. that would have made for an interesting claim ... (plus a very annoyed girlfriend)
