Anywhere in Aberdeen I could have an S2 K series engine cover repaired (it's cracked) and either painted or powdercoated? I was thinking PPS in Inverurie but they're not exactly quick at the best of times.

Alternatively if anybody has one I can take off their hands just shout :thumbsup

As you have an S1, whose car is the engine cover for?

Mark had an S2 cover altered to fit, to help reduce water getting into the spark plug chambers. Think it was just a case of lopping a tiny section off to fit over some of the pipework. It was then painted red but it's been flaking really badly and has a crack on the top left. Would like to return it to black and have the crack repaired, or get a replacement instead

Check, http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... =5&t=37658, I may have given fee the wrong advice if an S2 can be simply altered to fit an S1.

There are S2 covers on eBay but no S1's, and new are £300 and £400 for ali.

Advice is correct Tut, you're getting the bootlid and spark plug covers mixed up.

Jimbo's looking for an S2 spark plug cover to keep the rain out.
