Floor Mats

Post by thesurfbus » Fri Nov 29, 2013 9:55 am

My S1 has a bit of corrosion under the original rubber mats, so going to remove the mats and treat the corrosion. I noticed that Elise Parts sell rubber Mats, should I use these under the Fabric Mats, or are the fabric mats good enough to cut down the road noise?

I ripped up my mats last year and it was a mess underneath, spent a few evening muffing it all back and painting it with POR15. Lotus do a fix where they bond a new floor plate in.

I have some POR15 so going to do the same, there doesn't seem to be too much bubbling under mats.
