Things to see and do in Scotland - Dec weekend

Hi all, I have a couple of European colleagues who are coming to stay for a weekend in early December (7th). They want to see a bit of Scotland and I was thinking of walking the top section of the West Highland way (weather permitting).

Does anyone else have any original ideas of somewhere good to go, things to see and do at that time of year (Good accomodation)?

Other places that spring to mind are

Torridon (Torridon Inn seems like a nice place to stay and scenery is good)
Arran (Easy to get to, mini Scotland in a small space)
Skye direction (Castle Urquhart and other famous landmarks)

??
Thanks, Peter

Arran - worth checking if how much they scale back the ferries at this time of year

Was going to suggest Skye actually, and up Fort Bill way theres tonnes of walks etc.

Another vote for Skye, just remind them to pack waterproofs
