Scary
Re: Scary
I'll admit to thinking exactly the same this morning Tut, and thinking about you as i lay in bed reading that this morning!
One woman aged 107 years old still declaring herself fit to drive!!
I've said it all along, I do think there should be a compulsory test of some description for OAP's, be it a reaction based test, quick 10 minute test to judge mobility in the car (to check mirrors, lane changing, awareness etc)
Thankfully most know when they don't feel safe driving anymore and just stop, however I am seeing more and more cases of poor driving from OAPs simply not aware of whats going on around them anymore.
Before i take a shoeing, i realise i am generalising, young drivers probably cause a lot more accidents etc, insurance premiums are higher for them for a reason etc.
