Scoobie gone

Post by GregR » Sat Sep 21, 2013 8:34 am

So, last week I waved goodbye to the RB320, a nice French chap approached me to sell it and offered me a figure I couldn't refuse. Good car, practical if a little thirsty - I may well regret letting it go in the long term given their rarity but for me that's no reason to keep a car.

So, as I type I am waiting to board a flight to pick up her replacement. Further updates to follow...

Hopefully the new car will have better brakes!

Is the new car still a family track car?

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

Hopefully yes to both! I might change the brake fluid before the first TD in this one..

I'm rubbish at these slow reveal posts

Two wheel drive beetle :D

Most chuffed with it so far - really really composed on the twisties. I can't imagine how sorted a GT3 must feel! For our and out pace the Scoobie on boost probably has it licked, but for 'feel' (for me) the beetle wins hands down :)

3.4 or 3.6?

I am currently being offered cars from Dealers who will not take them into stock...... so if like me you do not mind a bit of Porsche Risk there are bargains to be had.

Nice 8)

But...

...I'm more interested to know if you took the Flanker or 29. Which is giving better fuel range at a decent pace now you have some miles on them both? :D

[still chuckle at that episode on here]
