We had a presentation from our ATM team a wee while ago, was interesting the ingenuity of the attacks no doubt cos there is money to be made. Mostly based on mechanical devices to intercept money, they target specific models of ATM's rather than specific banks and do a run over a few hours or a few days in an area, other approach is devices attached to machines to capture card details.
Of course there is the alternative approach of crashing a JCB/lorry/car into the ATM. Showed us a video of one of those, lorry ruptured something gas wise in the building, the explosion took out most of the block including the lorry and thief

Sensible thing to do when using an ATM, especially when away from home ones, is to look underneath the top surface which is where the cameras are attached, and make sure that there is not a low life looking over your shoulder.

Also if in any doubt, hold you hand above the keypad when you key in your PIN. Not exactly rocket science.

Nicking ATMs could be the perfect SE crime caper.

We'll need a fleet of Unimogs (to remove them from their homes), a selection of fast cars to spirit them away and some extra drivers to run interference (form an orderly queue).

Renmure can be our eyes in the sky.

Tut you're on weaponry and tactics.

Robin's in charge of getting the damn things open.

Which is excellent but I feel we should avoid using our own vehicles. I'm no criminal mastermind but even I realise that might make us easy to catch.

Although maybe we can utilise the collectives' tractor collection?

You would be better off stealing one and ripping the innards out. Build a basic front end to rip off peoples details.

Clone the cards and het junkies to pop along to another atm and steal the money.

You may have to cut off a junkies finger if they rip you off.

An acquaintance's son did a bank in Barrow. There's one road out of Barrow, the cops just waited for him to turn up on his 125.

There's management issues with having that large a staff. I want a quick, one very, very, busy day. No time spent putting cards into machines, just yank the damn things from the wall and get the f.uck out of Dodge.

Need someone with a barn where we can crack those bad boys open, and a crew.

You in?

Having seen many SErs, masks would be a definite bonus.

Does anyone have Nicholas Cage's number? he knows about this kinda stuff.
