I need help.
Can someone please tell me why I SHOULD NOT buy a 2010 Merc C63 AMG, 4 door with less than 12K miles, for circa £33K, other than the pittiful fuel consumption.
Gareth. I do not need your comments because you are biased

Because you could get a 700BHP RS6 for the same money?

They are very different cars. I test drove a 700bhp RS6 before opting for another E63. The RS6 was stupidly fast in a straight line, but you just don't feel that connected to it.
If your budget will stretch to a face lifted C63 i think that is a slightly better option as IMHO the speed shift gearbox is better plus the interior is slightly nicer. But you won't go wrong with either, the worrying thing for me is I have been pleasntly surprised with the fuel economy of my new E63 but that from me coming from an older E63 and a tuned Rs6 before it!

Oh they have soul by the bucket load. I know mine is an E not a C but it is laugh out loud fun when you are on it. A 2 ton estate has no right to be that much of an animal.

Last 5500 miles I've avg 20.4mpg
My 17 miles to work was 25mpg this morning.
Not bad for a big V8.
£85 to fill it - so small tank
Lasts on avg about 240 miles. I have seen 260 miles to a tank.
My 2013 does have the better/improved gearbox and dash/command.
Depreciation...never goes on holiday but "I'm big in oil*" so no problem
