Cam Belts
Hi folks, I wish to get the cam belt changed on my S1 Elise but Murray can't book it in until well into September. Does anyone have any other suggestions, I am sure that this must be a well trodden path!

If you're only doing it because of servicing schedule, get it done in September when they can do it. (SE members get a discount at MMC).
Falkland Performance must have done a few by now, so also an option.
Ali (SLS) must have done 100's in his time, but I am not sure whether he's still taking on Elise work and I don't have current contact details for him. Also you might not get it done any sooner than waiting for September.
Wherever you take it I would make sure you get a firm quote (i.e. be sure to know exactly what you'll end up handing over). Also if you take it non-Lotus you'll want to make sure the parts are coming from somewhere sensible - preferably source your own belt and tensioner from one of the Elise or MGF specialist parts places.
