AA parts and labour

I have now got parts and labour cover from the AA. Anybody on here fancy giving me a run down on how best to utilise it? The AA technician who I spoke to last time suggested that it could be used "creatively" to help pay for all manner of things. So for example, my front LSS bilies need a total rebuild, so if one of the springs was somehow cracked would that be claimable?

Firstly you need to call them out for a 'breakdown', I guess you will need the tech who attends to play ball. You also need the repairing garage to be 'understanding' too.
A couple of years ago I had a severely leaking shock (& didnt have relay) so had to go to a local garage and they then told the AA it was probably due to the state of the roads so they knocked the claim back and told me to claim on my insurance

( which coincidentally was also with the AA).
They are no where near as accepting as they used to be

Should have added that MMC dealt with the AA direct on my recent claim, so zero hassle to me & superb service from Craig & co
