Thanks bud, my other thread has me thinking there might be better value cars out there but I do like that passat so have txt the guy to see if he still has it and get his details off him, if nothing more interesting pops up?.. 225 megane is looking interesting? but then the TT has same power but less tax as it's a 2001 so is not done on emissions.. head is a pickle...

Civic EP3

Clio 182 ?

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/ ... 05/1523149

leggy 325i petrol

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/ ... pe/1573555

the Megane is an option, but I don't know how good or reliable they would be at those miles.

here are a few older smokers that might tick your boxes?

330d touring AUTO... Noooooooo

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/ ... -0/1570645

A4 avant, 1.8T, bombproof engine, cracking car AUTO... Noooooooo I have an A4 1.8T sport at home too, family barge spec

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/ ... rs/1539135

Skoda fabia VRS I don't know why but I really don't like the look of these, smaller than a Golf, bigger than a polo maybe? very boxy looking :P

Good list there to look through, 325 might just be too thirsty but I really like it, E90 at that price must be wanting for something??

Thanks for looking Clarkie!

To dated I think, I used to have a soft spot for them but I think a Golf has the better interior, I'll be spending a bit of time in there so it needs to be a nice place to be... :thumbsup
